Flyer and Business Card Design with Print-Ready Files

Clear, on-brand flyers and business cards designed for print, supplied as press-ready files with correct sizes, bleed, CMYK colour and high-resolution artwork.

Small formats, big first impressions

A business card is often the first physical thing a new contact keeps from you. A flyer may get a few seconds of attention on a counter, at an event or through a letterbox. In both cases there is very little space and very little time, so every element has to earn its place.

ZAS TECH designs flyers, leaflets and business cards for SMEs that want printed material to look professional and match the rest of their brand. We handle the design and prepare files your printer can use without problems, whether you print locally in Pakistan or with a supplier abroad.

What makes a flyer work

Good flyer design is mostly about decisions, not decoration. Before we open any design software, we agree three things with you:

  1. One main message. What is the single thing a reader should remember? An event, an offer, a new service?
  2. One clear action. Call, visit, scan a code, go to a web address. A flyer with five different calls to action usually gets none.
  3. The setting. A flyer handed out at a trade stand is read differently from one left on a reception desk. Size, paper and layout should suit where it will be seen.

From there, we build a clear hierarchy: a headline that can be read at arm's length, supporting text kept short, and contact details that are easy to find. If you need help with the wording itself, our content writing team can write or tighten the copy so it fits the space.

Business cards that stay readable

Business cards fail most often because too much is squeezed onto them. We keep text at a size that can be read comfortably, leave enough space around the logo, and include only the details people actually use: name, role, phone, email, website and, where relevant, an address. Double-sided cards can carry a logo or short brand line on the back without crowding the front.

We can design a single card or a consistent set for a whole team, so that everyone's details follow the same layout.

Print-ready files, explained simply

A design that looks fine on screen can print badly if the file is not prepared correctly. Every file we supply is set up for professional printing:

  • Bleed: background colours and images extend beyond the trim line, typically by 3 mm on each side, so there are no thin white edges after cutting.
  • Safe area: important text and logos sit comfortably inside the trim, so nothing is cut off if the guillotine moves slightly.
  • CMYK colour: artwork is set up in the four-colour mode used by printing presses, so colours are closer to what you expect. Screen colours can look brighter than ink, and we flag where a colour may shift.
  • 300 dpi images: photos and graphics are checked for resolution at their printed size to avoid blurry or pixelated results.
  • Fonts and format: files are supplied as print PDFs with fonts embedded or outlined, plus editable source files if agreed.

If your printer has its own specification, send it to us and we will follow it. Different printers sometimes ask for different bleed sizes or colour profiles, and it is simpler to match them from the start.

Keeping print and digital consistent

Your flyer and card should feel like part of the same family as your website and social media. We use your existing logo, colours and fonts, or help define a simple set if you do not have them yet. We can also supply web-friendly versions of a flyer for email or social sharing.

Ready to brief a new flyer or refresh your business cards? Send us the details, including the size, quantity and where it will be printed, and we will take it from there.

FAQ

Flyers & Cards Design: common questions

Do you print the flyers and cards as well?

Our service covers design and preparing print-ready files. You can then use any printer you prefer, whether in Pakistan or elsewhere. If you send us your printer's specifications, we will set the files up to match them. If your printer comes back with any questions about the artwork, we are happy to answer them or adjust the files.

What is bleed and why does it matter?

Bleed is extra artwork that extends beyond the final cut edge, usually about 3 mm on each side. Printers trim sheets in bulk and the cut can move very slightly. Without bleed, you may see thin white lines along the edges of a coloured background. Adding bleed means the colour or image runs right to the edge after trimming.

Why do colours look different in print than on screen?

Screens create colour with light, while printers use four inks: cyan, magenta, yellow and black, known as CMYK. Some bright screen colours cannot be reproduced exactly with ink, so they may look slightly duller in print. We design in CMYK from the start, flag colours that may shift, and can suggest close alternatives that print well.

Which business card size should I choose?

It depends mainly on where you do business. The 85 × 55 mm size is common in the UK and much of Europe, while 3.5 × 2 inches is standard in the US and Canada. If you are unsure, ask your printer what they normally produce or what fits the card holders your contacts use. We can set up either size, or a custom one.

What do I need to provide to get started?

Ideally your logo in a high-quality format, your brand colours and fonts if you have them, the wording you want to include, and any photos you would like to use. Let us know the size, quantity and printing method too. If some of this is missing, we can help with wording, suggest suitable images or create a simple set of brand colours to work from.

Can I get editable files after the design is finished?

Yes, if agreed at the start. Alongside the print PDF, we can supply the source design files so your team can update details such as phone numbers or prices later. For business card sets, we can also prepare a template so new team members can be added in the same layout, keeping everything consistent as your business grows.
